How are today's football predictions made?
For every match, the hit rate of each pick is calculated from how often that result has occurred in both teams' past matches and from the match odds. The picks with the highest hit rates are spread across five daily coupons, each with three matches.
The "today's football predictions" table lists every pick from the five coupons, sorted by hit rate, so the strongest picks of the day are at the top.
Coupon types and percentage bands
- Surprise Soccer Tips: 40–49 %
- Big Odds Tips: 50–59 %
- Free Football Tips: 60–69 %
- Most Popular Tips: 70–79 %
- Daily Tips: 80–89 %
The higher the band, the higher the match hit rate and the lower the total odds; the surprise coupon is the opposite. Choose by the balance of risk and odds that suits you.
How to read percentages and odds
The percentage is the hit rate of a pick; the options of one match do not have to add up to 100. The odds are the market price of that pick. Picks whose hit rate is clearly higher than the percentage implied by the odds (100 / odds) are marked as "value odds" on the odds analysis pages.
The percentages are a statistical indicator, not a guarantee of any result. Coupons and odds may be updated during the day.
